Trick or Treat for UNICEF
Remember those little orange boxes for coins for UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund? If you’re not familiar with UNICEF’s trick-or-treat promotion, the organization helps children suffering around the world, whether from disease, natural disasters, poverty, war, or a host of other afflictions. For Halloween, UNICEF encourages children to take along a box to collect money to help children around the world while they are trick-or-treating for candy. It’s a good cause and a great way to teach your children about stewardship and that children around the world do not always live like we do.
