The Neiman Marcus Holiday Catalog
One of the most anticipated holiday catalogs is always that of Dallas-based retailer, Neiman Marcus. The colorful, upscale book is famous for its “over-the-top” fantasy presents (with their equally over-the-top price tags).
This year’s offerings were just published and may be viewed online at the N-M Web site. Among the fantasy packages are season tickets to the Dallas Cowboys complete with a deluxe tailgate party at your home and an appearance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as well as a 2009 limited edition, individual T series BMW (pictured above). Other packages include a collection of rare 45 rpm top 100 records from the 1960s through the 1990s and his and her life-size LEGO sculptures of the purchasing couple (everyone needs a pair).
Of course, the book also has “affordable” clothing, accessories, and gift items. Even if you don’t buy, it’s still fun to look.

I guess “Holiday Catalog” doesn’t mean “sales”, does it? :) The lifesized legos…just when you thought they’d thought of everything. craziness.

I always look forward to the NM catalog but after leafing through it I usually feel like I need to take a shower. The conspicuous consumption gets to me every time.
