The Feast of the Annunciation
March 25 is the Day of the Annunciation, a holy day in the Catholic Church. This marks the day, nine months before Christmas, that the Archangel Gabriel visited Mary to tell her that she would conceive a baby, Jesus, as told in the Bible’s book of Luke, chapter 1, verses 26-38.
