Just in time for Mother’s Day, “All Holiday Cafe” is giving away a Mother’s Day pampering package. All you have to do is leave a comment below, telling us in one or two sentences about your favorite Mother’s Day. The deadline is 11:59pm EDT on April 26.

Gosh…I don’t know if i have a favorite mother’s day…..all mother’s days…and days in general are special with my children! My hubby has them make me a card and do special things for me….it is soo sweet each year! :)

Last year I had a wopper of a sinus infection and my husband had already made brunch reservations. I went to urgent care to get some meds, we just made our brunch reservations and my son slept on me (he’s 2 now) while I ate my meal, which I couldn’t taste because I was stuffed up. It was one of the few times I could enjoy him and a meal in public!

My favorite Mother’s Day was when I was pregnant with my son. It was just a week before I ended up giving birth and I was so excited putting the finishing touches in the nursery and imagining what it would be like with my sweet baby boy in there!

My favorite Mother’s day is the one when my son was 4. He insisted I needed a dress. My mom took him shopping and I ended up with a Polka Dot Stretch sundress, matching bucket hat w/ a large flower on the brim, and matching polka dot flip flops, also with large plastic flowers on them. BUT he chose every part by himself, so I wore it all w/ pride and a little mortification LOL

This will be my first Mother’s Day and I am excited for breakfast in bed (I need to remind my husband). We always did that for my mom when I was a kid, and I remember picking flowers from the yard and making a card to put on the tray. I’d give this set to her for Mother’s Day. Thanks!

I think my most memorable was when I had been staying with my preemie in NICU during mother’s day and the hospital gave each mother a corsage. It may not have been the greatest mothers day, but it has made me appreciate all the others that much more.

My favorite MOthers Day is when I was pregnant with my firstborn. my husband gave me the most beautiful hand writtem card about how great of a mother I was going to be and all the wonderful things I would be soon experieincing. I still have that card and it still brings me to tears.

My favorite Mother’s Day was actually before I was a mother. I did a lot for my mom on that day and felt really proud and happy. (I was 14 or 15 years old). Now I REALLY appreciate my mother since I’m going through motherhood firsthand!

My favorite mothers day was when I had my first daughter, it was 3 weeks later, and I was in a funk, and everyone for my first mothers day made it special. Dinner, cards, and taking care of her for the day, so I could sit and take it easy.

My favourite mother’s day, in retrospect, was the last one when my grandmothers were still alive. That was 9 years ago. I didn’t know it at the time but it was a special day, to have all the important women in my life with me on the occasion!

Mother’s day had always been hard for me because I had a biological mom that wasn’t really around and a stepmom, so we had to divide our time and try to make everyone happy. Now that I’m a mom I put those feelings aside and enjoy the day for me.

Wow, those all look great. I am not actually a mom, but one of my favorite memories of A mother’s day was when our youth group (when I was a teenager) was in charge of our church service on mother’s day. I sang a song, and some of the guys collected the offering, etc. It was really cool.

My favorite Mother’s Day was when I was about 10 or so my mom had made the comment that she loved getting flowers but they died in a week or two so I put my young mind to work and decided to plant rose bushes on the side of the arbor that way she would have them for ever and ever and that’s exactly what I did. I also wrote her a poem as well. I felt as though I would bust with pride as I seen the happiness in my mom’s eyes and touched she was… I will forever remember that Mother’s Day.

Ooooh, so many goodies in that package! My favorite mother’s day was when my mom and grandma came up to where I live and we all went out to eat at a nice restaurant. They stayed overnight and the next day we strolled through my little town and had breakfast. My grandma can barely get around now because of a bad knee (she’s 87) so she can’t do that sort of thing anymore. I really miss it!

Two years ago. It was my first Mother’s Day as a mom and my (now) fiance had flowers delivered. I thought it was sweet because I’d never had flowers delivered before!

hmmm, i think my 1st mother’s day when i was pregnant, i had DS in june so was VERY pregnant in may, and was happy to be participating finally!

My favorite Mother’s Day was in 2001. I was awaiting the birth of my youngest child in just a few days. My then husband treated me like a queen.

This will actually be my sister’s first mother’s day (and I’d be giving this to her if I won- she deserves it after giving birth on Tuesday!), but I remember when she and I were kids and would make menus for my mom to order from for her breakfast in bed. The choices were generally along the lines of differently-topped toasts.

Best Mother’s Day: when my daughter had my husband pick up a sandwich at a special cafe, brought it to me in my bedroom and made a chocolate cake and forgot the sugar!!! :)

My favorite Mother’s Day was breakfast in bed, a new magazine, and then hubby took the girls out of the house for a couple hours for me to enjoy them and have some time for myself. Then we went out to dinner at night.

My best Mother’s Day was when my girls and hubby got my a cypress swing to hang on the back patio. They signed the bottom and we have swung quite a bit on that swing. Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite Mother’s Day is that last one with my mom in 1997 …she had recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer so we just spent time together. She was gone four weeks later.

My favorite Mother’s Day was when I was still pregnant with my daughter. My husband brought me home the most beautiful flowers in a special vase that I use to this day when my daughter brings me flowers. It was the first thing that said to me “You are now a Mom.”

My favorite Mother’s Day was in 2006. At church that day we had baby dedication and we dedicated my daughter. That was also the day we joined our church. Then we went to eat at Cracker Barrel, which I love! It was a wonderful day:)

honestly the best one was the 1 before my 1st was born , we didnt have a phone then and every sunday we would o down to DQ so I could “feed the lil one ” LOL and make calls and update the family as we were living out of state , that day tho when I called my grandparents my grandfather would not let my gramma talk at all (very rare lol) so we talked about the my son and how things were etc andjust before I hung up he said I know its early and people dont think you should be told this … but happy mothers day , your gonna be great mom . He never got to see my son, I was due in sept and he died unexpectedly in july . But nowwith 4 kids on the hard days I keep rembering hs werds and it helps , I wish they could have met him they would have loved spending time with him …..

Favorite Mother’s Day would be when my dad surprised my mom with a LIMO ride to a very hoity-toity restaurant for Mother’s Day Brunch after church on Sunday. That was great…my kids have attempted to make me breakfast in bed. That is also a sweet memory.

I’m not yet a mom, but I will tell you that my favorite Mother’s Day memory is when my brother and I saved up our money to buy our mom a Dairy Queen ice cream cake…we were so proud of ourselves…although, looking back, she probably would have rather we had made something for her, you know? I’m hoping that I can give my mother this gift set. My mom has always been there for me and I know I have given her many headaches. Two years ago my mother and father finally took a vacation(The falls) a day and half drive from were we live. I was involved in a accident while they were on vacation. I was hit by an uninsured drunk driver and had to have my left leg amputated at the age of 35, I didn’t want my mom to find out until their vacation was over. That didn’t happen, my mom was notified and they drove straight home not knowing if I was going to live or die. I still feel bad to this day that my mother had to cut their vacation short. I know it didn’t matter to her. I knew she would be there for me.
