Cookbook Giveaway - Eat Shrink and Be Merry
Canadian food celebrities, Janet and Greta Podleski’s new healthy eating cookbook, “Eat, Shrink, and Be Merry,” is coming out later this summer, but you can get an early look by winning an advance copy here at “All Holiday Cafe,” as part of the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival.
The cookbook is a fun collection of recipes and cooking tips, using easy to find ingredients and easy to follow instructions. There are plenty of choices for holidays, including the Great Pretenderloin, Red White and Yahoo salad, and Bewedged appetizers. For more about Podleski sisters and their book, visit their Web site.
To win the cookbook, simply leave a comment below, telling us your favorite holiday before midnight on Monday, August 4 (EDT). The contest is open to US residents age 18 and older. Good Luck!

when i met my husband online, one of our first emails to each other asked this question, and he responded “groundhogs day” because people always gave him cake and presents…

I love Thanksgiving! It always brings back memories of my great aunt’s house, where we used to spend Thanksgiving when I was little. We still have the same basic menu, but we try to use some new recipes, too.

Favorite holiday? I think it varies from year to year. I enjoy Thanksgiving for many reasons. It’s non religious so it’s a holiday we can share with family and friends both. We also can pretty much make any food item and it’s just prefect. Great question :)
