Celebrate Halloween with a Phantom Cocktail
Are you looking for a festive cocktail to serve at your Halloween party? The people that made Midori, the melon-flavored liqueur have concocted a layered libation called a “Phantom.” Here’s how to make it:
Midori’s Phantom
1 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur
1 oz. Pernod
1/2 oz. Water
1 egg white
Pour 1 oz. Midori into the bottom of a champagne flute. Shake the Pernod and water, and pour on top of the Midori layer. Add the foam of one egg white. Use a dash of Midori to create green foam.

Okay, I hate to say this but that sounds and looks aweful! LoL I’ll deal with a boody mary or white zombie instead for halloween!

Sounds yummy! And I know I like Midori - too bad I won’t be drinking anything alcoholic for a while! At least until baby #2 gets here…

It’s beautiful, but the thoughts of egg whites in my cocktail kind of turn me off. It might be just as lovely looking in a martini glass withOUT the egg whites.

That is a pretty drink. I’d love to see more family friendly mocktails for the holidays (though I’m not against the real thing).

That is spooky looking, I’m a big fan of spiked apple cider, it gets you tin the fall spirit!

It’s the egg white that kills it for me. It looks cool, but I dont think I could drink it.
